The external enclosures subgroup is responsible for designing and fabricating pressure vessels for the vehicle, excluding the upper hull. Examples of these vessels include the camera enclosures, sensor boom, and the hydrophones enclosure. This team also takes on miscellaneous projects, such as the vehicle kill switch and the polarizing light filter assembly.
