For the 2008-2009 academic year, the CUAUV team designed our new vehicle Nova to perform research in Cayuga Lake and compete in the AUVSI/ONR's 12th annual International Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Competition, dubbed "Divin' Dozen". Nova performed very well in this competition, completing nearly the entire course and securing a first place win for Cornell, earning us $10,000.
